Meg’s Choice – WordPress Plugins
One of the great things about having a WordPress website is that there is a plugin for just about everything!
One of the worst things about having a WordPress website is that you want them all.
If you want to add some functionality to your site, chances are someone else has wanted to do the same thing and already created a compatible plugin for it.
But this also becomes a plugin rabbit hole. With so many shiny new plugins to choose from, how do you choose the right ones for your site?
Our team has been building and managing a lot of different websites for over 11 years and we have all used and have a lot of experience with many different plugins.
We tapped onto Meg’s shoulder and asked her as our team plugin guru for her top 3 favourites.
1. Happy Files Pro
If you have a busy WordPress site, then you know how hard it can be to keep your media library manageable. Happy Files is like a file manager for your website. It helps you organise your media files, posts, pages, products – and even your plugins – like a pro so you can always find what you need.
2. Imagify
The most common reason I come across for slow web pages is huge image files. Imagify optimises all the images you upload to your website when you upload them – and can bulk optimise all the images you already have on your site.
3. SEOPressPro
This is Meg’s preferred SEO plugin for WordPress. It doesn’t clutter up your dashboard with ads like some other ones do, it does all the things you need an SEO plugin for, and it can take the place of multiple plugins to make it easier to manage things on your website.
Plugins can automate admin, schedule and publish blogs and content, send client reminders and so much more.
