Amy Harvey

History fiction buff and blueberry aficionado Amy is our Taranaki based in house accuracy expert – part Crisp Apple and part Crispin Design. A design all-rounder dynamo, she completed a 4-year honours degree in Visual Communications and Design at Massey before heading to the UK on her OE.

She has a well-earned reputation for being a process-driven perfectionist with the ability to pick up a current brand and fine-tune projects into meticulous precision.

While also juggling the needs of a young family – Amy and her accountant husband Chris have 3 children aged 4, 5 and 11 months, who rule the roost.

Born in New Zealand with Dutch heritage, Amy is fully bilingual and fluent in her parent’s Mother tongue, having visited and explored her parents home country of Holland on her travels.

Her strong design skills, precise eagle eye and visual comms finesse have sent her forth down an exciting career path.

She has worked in marketing and design departments in diverse industries including the UK construction industry and well known New Zealand newspapers. Handling everything from marketing, graphic and website design to videography and print production in fast-paced newsrooms.

Amy has been with the Crisp Apple Website Design team since 2016 and has an unparalleled understanding of all of our client’s needs and specific requirements.

Her meticulous design style gives her a particular edge for the demands of print and typography while her strong visual comms and design experience compliments her impressive fluidity across a dynamic range of design mediums.

With 3 small kids under 5 and fitting in time to whip up some sweet as design work, Amy still manages to squeeze in some time for herself on occasion.

Grabbing a quick run or heading out for a walk is always on the list and if she is really being indulgent, some uninterrupted time with a good book without having to share her blueberries would be first prize.
